Sonic frontiers answered many questions we had throughout the sonic story. Something I can seriously cherish. Sa1 when sonic has flash backs from the past due to Tikal. Lots more. I always wondered where chaos originated from and that was answered. Frontiers is a adventure game and you can kind of tell, its like mixture of SA1 story telling with and a hint modern games to. It's a love letter to us fans from Sega saying "we didn't forget the games you love and we understand why you love them more then the recent games we have come out with." I think Sega knows now.... we strive for that mysterious type of sonic game, sonic game that doesn't explain much in the beginning but as time goes on you explore and you find out more and more. The most thing I loved about Sa1 and Sa2 is the mysterious music and setting and story telling. "mysterious" is what we miss about the sonic games. Wanting to explore the unknown and see things we never seen before and understand the mysterious tribes and ancestors who built the pyramids and find out the truth of the origins of life. Sonic NEEDS to go back to being mysterious again like it has in frontiers and SA1 and 2. Even Nights is mysterious in its own right.
