Prior to the 1900’s, the majority of Russia’s population were poor, peasant farmers who were ruled by a monarchy. Writings by Karl Marx that supported a classless society inspired revolutionaries to organize. Under the leadership of Vladimir Lenin, citizens along with soldiers would overthrow the monarchy and form a new provisional government. However, more civil unrest would follow until Lenin and the Bolshevik Party took control. The 1917 revolutions led to the creation of the Soviet Union, the world’s first Communist State.

The only issue I have is with it being called "the first communist state". Socialist, yes. Communism by its definition was never achieved.

Do you know? that Lenin did not trust Stalin to be his successor and preferred Trotsky.
And the truth that Lenin's Communism/Leninism for the Soviet Union deviated because of Stalin.
Lenin allowed a market economy and everyone owns land and the right to carry out Independent Economic activities. However, when Stalin rose to power, the people's land was stolen and the people were forced to become a labour.

Corrections: the Soviet Union was not communist, but a state capitalist society, since communism means the abolition of classes and the state ... also, despite your claim, the Bolsheviks actually did offer to share power with any anti-capitalist party committed to the rule of the Soviets, and briefly they did share power with the Left Socialist Revolutionaries until the latter split over the Brest Litovsk peace treaty ...
