After you have picked open a lever lock sometimes the pick wire gets stuck and is a nightmare to get back out.
A look inside a Union 5 lever Mortice lock to try and find why this happens

Great question from Roy Sammons and a great way to demonstrate I think we should have clear plates for all the lever locks we have as such a great way to learn and you can always put the metal plate back on😃👍👍☕️🍺🔑🔐🔒🔓😷🐈🐈

a thing i saw while learning is very few people actually like to challenge double lever locks the one that needs 2 rotations to unlock. Not all of them do but its a thing. Now the closest i can get for you on google is the Security Gate Lock 456931 better known as a the "Jaguar Security Gate Lock 456931" or more or less the same is the BBL 6-LEVER SECURITY GATE LOCK N302 really liked this one kept me busy for a bit. Just the thank you on showing me how to make my own tools that was really helpful. Much appreciated

Ah good old Brummie comes up with the goods. Nice one buddy, a big thank you for the video explaining why lever lock picks get stuck.
I am going to be a right plain now and ask another question. I recently watched BB talk about lever locks and he picked one with a curtain. His explanation on which way the pick wires bend depending on which way you pick curtain locks confused me a little. He seemed to use the bent wire the opposite way than I thought. You used the in this video the same way as B Bill. I would have assumed the wire needs a Bend to the left to give you more space to rotate right. But here in this video you use a wire bent to the right.
Does any of that make sense?
