Susu pasteurisasi sering kali dianggap kurang baik dibandingkan dengan susu mentah atau segar. Padahal, jika ditinjau secara medis, mengonsumsi susu mentah justru membuat seseorang lebih berisiko terinfeksi kuman berbahaya daripada mengonsumsi susu pasteurisasi.
Sebagaimana susu pada umumnya, susu yang telah dipasteurisasi pun memiliki beragam nutrisi yang baik bagi kesehatan tubuh, seperti vitamin, mineral, dan protein.
