I've watched several videos from your channel and it helped a lot.
In this case, though, we in our church- we use those hand signals. Cause it helps better than shouting at the band (since we won't hear each other if we say it with our normal voice volume). I think it makes less distraction. You can keep your eyes closed, stay in the presence without interrupting yourself from the conversation you're having with God at that moment. 😊

Thanks for sharing. I can sing, but I don't know what key is what. So, I just turn around, give clear hand signals or even call out a the title of the next song and or stanza for those manning the projector. I love when my singing becomes ministration, it's the Holy Spirit helps me draw everyone into God's presence. 😊

In my church are sets are always in the same key so their is no confusion, normally the worship leader does not need to signal us because we flow with the Holy Spirit, however if we do need to communicate normally there is a look that we get and we just know.

Por favor, eu peço ao Don e à sua equipe que coloque legenda em português nesses vídeos. Aqui no Brasil temos muita dificuldade com o ensino musical em nossas igrejas, e esses vídeos são riquíssimos. Eu entendo uma boa parte do que eles falam, mas a maioria das pessoas não entendem.

I have so many questions but I don't know how to ask them lol!! should the singers work with a metronome to help themselves stay in time when the drummer cuts out?because on my team when I cut out the singers always sing slower even when I hit the hi hats and I play to a metronome every practice and every service!! i want to say something about it but the team looks at me like a crazy so i just keep my mouth shut
