Hi! When I apply decals, black stripes appear along the borders of decals in cycles. Why is this happening? As I understand it, the decal lies unevenly on the object and therefore it throws the light back and hence these stripes. But why the decal falls unevenly on the object, I do not understand.

Can you adjust big bevels of the mesh so that the trim texture will preserve in bevelled geo ?

offtopic question but don't You want to make an uv mode where You are sync with the 3d view but You can still tear the uvs in the uv space? like in modo, there is a tear mode and then You can simply select an uv edge of a common 3d edge. this is the most annoying thing in blender that i can't have sync and teared uvs at the same time. referring to the problem at 4:30
