After reading Ms. Marvel vol.1 I really love Kamala Khan. I feel that the writer treated her with a lot of respect and not like a stereotype, and captured the struggle most teens go through in terms of identity and culture.

Kamala has a very old school teen superhero vibe. I love that. It's like someone did what they were doing with Nova, but you know, without it sucking and shitting over the legacy of the previous character and it's lore. I actually want to read more, but there's not that much, and since it's kind of a teen book, it has some soap opera moments that are kinda cliche and boring. Still, Kamala's a great character, and I hope to see more of her in future Marvel titles.

Sometimes I just like putting out the stories that I enjoy! This was supposed to be a Origin video, but then I realized it would be SO much more fun to just tell her first adventure. Grand Slam recording is canceled tomorrow, so no video for Sunday this week guys! Cya all next week guys

From what I've seen here, I like her. I think her powers are kind of dumb but she's funny. I read another story with her teaming up with Spidey and I thought she was kinda awesome there too and seeing Spidey more in a mentor roled was a plus.

I liked this story because it's about a normal teen with new super powers that she don't know how to use and it's the most human like story because most of the heroes know how to use their powers without any training

Even though I'm a black dude I can relate to Kamala as a child of immigrants born in the US. It's easy to reject your parents' culture that you view as restrictive
