I mean.. finding specifically earth, just in our galaxy alone, is like a needle in a hay stack except the hay stack is the size of earth and the needle is the size of 1/20th of an atom.. no wonder we haven't found anything and theoretically nothing has found us. I made up the size comparison but I imagine it's reasonably fair, considering Earth's diameter is roughly 8000 miles, and the diameter of the galaxy is roughly 100, 000 light years, or 6.2137 × 10^17 mi (from Google), which is 621 quadrillion miles. Meaning, we exist as 1/7.7 x 10^13 of the galaxy. We're so small and insignificant, I love it. The hubris humans have to think things are searching for us is kinda hilarious
