The Whisper Quest Week 1 Guide - First Blights & 2 Oracle Locations - Destiny 2 Exotic Mission

Here's a guide for completing the Whispers of the Past and Whispers of the Taken I Exotic Quests to get the craftable Exotic Sniper Whisper of the Worm. This requires beating the mission on Legend, defeating Taken and destroying Taken Blights. I've also included the location of the first two oracles in the Exotic mission which are required for the triumph called Oracular Seeker which unlocks the Karve of the Worm Exotic Ship.

I definitely found what seems to be another one shortly after the 2nd. It’s that long corridor with the slanted edges and snipers. There are 2 vex cubs you have to shoot. One at the very beginning on the left and one at the every end on the right, it’s hidden behind a wall. A platform will form but there’s nothing there, yet the reticle turns red like you can shoot something

you can shoot first oracle with rocket or grenade launcher even if it isn't there (on second run), and you will get all intrinsic versions, you can insert it in the whisper but stock and no distraction will be block nevertheless

You dont need to kill the taken in the mission, anywhere works
And yes the oracles spawn before you even get the wisper
You missed one at the beginning of the mission

Small correction. You can kill the taken on anything. I got the taken part done on dreaming city lost sector

Maybe it was because he was on a fire team and he was the only one who shot the oracle, when I did it solo, I got white nail 2

complete solo on normal and 2 people on legend despite the timer has ran up but yeah its easier compare to few years back..back then i couldnt even pass the first room lol

the 10 taken kills do not have to be killed within the Whisper mission, this part works anywhere in the solar system
