I think that red pill ideology is an understandable reaction to the modern world. Where it doesn't work for me is it appears to be trying to solve problems created by materialism and spiritual apathy with more materialism and spiritual apathy.

I love the clip when Pearl says Never to take "Advice from a woman" as a woman giving advice. Is she like even thinking about what she is saying. If you hear her in any debate with non RedPill on different podcasts that question her. She mostly gets stuck when someone points out to her bad data. She can't respond.

I think you are correct in a lot of these critiques.

what concerns me more than the existence of these figures (tate, peterson, shapiro etc) is the fact that there is an open niche for them to occupy. we can keep playing this game where we tear down the new figure head for the “mano sphere” but someone always comes in and replaces them. We aren’t addressing the underlying issue that an entire generation of young people feel like their parents and grandparents completely and utterly failed to instill any drive within the youth of today to try and make the world a better place.

Any decent red pill channel will tell you, you shouldn't be watching their content forever. Get what you need out of it, heal, and move on with a normal life a bit more aware of the fact it's ok to be a bit self interested and a little wary of the motives of people you may want to emotionally engage with.

Best things red pill ever taught me was boundaries and skepticism. Then I went and watched something else.

Interesting because, as a long time consumer of red pill content, the conclusion I arrived at is that monogamy is the best compromise for a well functioning society that actually is capable of progress. Nature is cruel and doesn't strive to perfect anything, it just propagates species and cares not for the utmost suffering of the individual. Thus, there is no state in which human beings naturally thrive. This is why we created society in the first place: to have better lives. Monogamy is part of that. It still applies pressure, but not so much that it makes people explode and rebel. And it's the only thing capable of keeping large masses of people working together. The solution to feminism, anti-feminism, wokeness, anti-wokeness is always to just acknowledge reality. That's what the red pill symbolizes. The fact that it got popular and grifters started sprouting makes no difference to me. One glance at Andrew Tate and I immediately recognized the scam.
