Hermione protecting Lavender's body from being eaten broke my heart . . . that scene always gets me.

You know what I love the most about this scene? How perfectly the music fits. The filmmakers could have gone for some frenetic action music, but instead of that, Mr. Desplat composed this melancholic and beautiful piece of music which fits perfectly with the scene where we see our home burn.

I noticed when I first saw the scene. How the trio had met their own personal fear or enconter. 1. the troll/ giant was Heromine's personal antagonist in the very 1st movie. 2. were the spider's that was Ron's moment. which was the 2nd movie. and 3. was Harry's obstacle the dementors. Which was the 3rd movie. (I know I skipped some im just going by their personal encounter)

I love this whole scene, but the part that gets me is when Aberforth decides to put the past behind him and fights for his family and Hogwarts in the place of his brother.

I love how in the first book they become friends after protecting each other from a troll, in the last movie they are still protecting each other from trolls.

I love this scene. Just Amazing!
1. Harry's first Quidditch teacher and the troll/giant as in Sorcerer's Stone
2. Then there arw hundreds of acromantulas as in Chamber of Secrets
3. Then there is the wolf showing Remus Lupin as in Prisoner of Azkaban
4. The loss of a friend (Lavender/Cedric) portrays Goblet of Fire
5. The armies Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore's Army
6. Aberforth taking on dementors represents Dumbledore and the Inferi
And also Harry going to Voldemort and Half-Blood Prince (Snape)

This scene hist me hard. When you see Hogwarts in the first book and movie and now this. It's just incredible. These students learning magic and we all see them develop throughout the series. Seamus, Oliver, Neville and the other characters. And most of all Harry, Ron, and Hermione. They all stand together and held their ground. So sad to those that lost their lives in this great battle. Amazing series. Both the books and movies.
