I've never understood why this album didn't get more praise. It is amazing. I'm not even a fan of this genre of music, but somehow this album hit me hard when I was but a young lad. I'm a rock fan, guitar is where it's at, shoegaze, math rock, alternative, post rock, post hardcore etc. This album tho, wow. I stand by my opinion that this album was ahead of its time and is actually a big influence on the current hyper pop scene

Found this album earlier this year knowing little about Nero, only that they were pioneers in the popularization of dubstep. Couldnt believe my ears during the first listen, especially with scorpions. Absolutely love this album!!!

Great review! Easily one of my favorite electronic albums. One of the best ever albums for putting the listener into a aesthetic world and also telling a well-rounded story. Particularly love Promises for being one of the best dubstep tracks ever, and My Eyes for capturing the dark cyberpunk atmosphere better than any other of their songs to date.

I'd be interested in hearing you review a Daft Punk album, like Discovery. Then again, maybe it's too soft for this channel. I just love the creativity on display in that album.

i think departure is easily my favorite track, just the feeling and the chord progressions used are so nice, and it's not one of those tracks where the second half is just a repeat of the first

Can we talk about that Clash review where they said the album was largely forgettable….I swear we must be living on a different planet if this album is forgettable. I mean, I’m not saying everybody has to like it, but…I am saying you’re factually wrong if you don’t 😂

Also even though nobody asked, my personal favorite track is “Angst.” I just think it sounds so epic.
