This is exactly what Prince was all about..young people becoming real musicians..I believe if he had been around he would have had her touring with him..She reminds me of his bassist, Rhonda. Keep up the good work.

Who knew I'd watch a 56 minute interview with someone I'd never heard of, about the instrument I find the least interesting, yet hung on every word?! This was great, Rick!

"There is no bad melodies only bad arrangements" - Mohini Dey. Very accurate! Kudos to Rick for this interview.

Mohini became huge in the Indian scene when she performed with AR Rehman on Coke Studio India. She was probably 15 and part of an ensemble of some of the best musicians in India. But she played incredibly well and with such confidence that I immediately knew that she's going to become massive!
Keep rocking!

Rick you're going to grow from 4 million subscribers to 40 million if you keep interviewing these young talented musicians. They're going on to do great things and your channel will record the history of their journey!

"If you don't know how to improvise, then there is nothing to talk about."

That is such an amazing line, and I wholeheartedly agree. Intentionality and conversationality are essential.

She's SO FUCKING GOOD on ALL LEVELS and in ALL WAYS. AND she's cool to talk to, too.

People need to keep their eye on this lady and she needs ALL the exposure. Tell people about this lady people, tell your friends.

Mohini Dey is no doubt very accomplished and talented, but what I find so striking is the way she talks about her family, especially her Dad and their relationship. I can tell it's been a journey and yet, she seems to have a maturity and clarity about her emotions that I can only wish we all had. This interview was delightful and reminded me of my own father. I wish Mohini more success ahead!

Her statement 'blah, blah, blah, whatever..." She is so in the moment she doesnt even realise how flipping amazing she is. She's just sharing her talent and is loving it. I have never heard Rick so quiet and so engaged. This is her presense. No pretence, no ego. Just pure talent and enjoyment. What an absolute beautiful and talented being.
