Instead of waiting 10 minutes every time you run your workflow, which is slow and laborious to say the least, this cool Alteryx feature and hack allows you to cache specific points in your workflow at any time - just like a video game save point! This eliminates the need to query the source repeatedly during the development of your workflow. By right-clicking and adding the cache, you can run your workflow from that cached temporary point, saving 10 minutes each time! best of all, with the Cache and Run Workflow option in Alteryx, you can instantly see the results without running the entire workflow each time you add a new tool. And the best part? You can use multiple caches in a single workflow AND your workflow ONLY runs from the cached temporary point in the workflow - so it doesn't take AGES to load!
