Frank: You know, I once lost a friend over $50 and sometimes when I'm driving... I still think about that $50.

From personal experience, here is my advice: If you have money to loan a loved one, give it as a gift and don’t ask for it back. Tell them to use it however they need it and put the whole thing to bed then and there. I promise you’ll be happier.

I never understood why so many people said they hated this show.not only was it funny but it was a show the whole family could sit down and watch.you didn't have to plug your children's ears or cover their eyes .if people hate these kinds of shows, I worry about the future of this world

Some people are gonna think that I’m an awful person for saying this but honestly, this is why I would never lend money to my brother or any other member of my family because if they do something stupid with it or they can’t pay me back then there’s always gonna be tension

I had a friend who let his brother in law borrow $500.
One day he needed the money back and he asked him and he responded back with such a nasty attitude telling him he didn’t have it yet.

He told me that like a couple of months passed and his brother in law had won some money at the casino. He went to his house and asked him nicely for his money back.
His brother in law went back inside, grabbed the money and yelled “here’s your money!!!” And threw the money in his face.

It made me laugh because my friend is so chill and problem free that he just picked up the money and went home 😂

Should have just bought him groceries and filled up his car with gas. Help him with necessities if you want to help.

I COULDN'T BE MORE AGREED WITH FRANK !!!!
The people who got trouble with money in the first place shouldn't be handed with money, regardless it's your siblings or your parents!

There are only two conditions in which I willingly lend money...

1. If The person has helped me before in any way possible ...

2. If the amount Isn't significant enough that would hurt me financially if turned into bad debt...

This episode never made sense to me. Robert legit lived at home for 10+ years paying no rent/bills working full time as a Sargent In the NYPD with likely good overtime/benefits. Didn’t have a fancy apartment nor had much of a life outside hanging out with his family. How was he struggling financially? Let’s not forget Robert had to lend Ray money when Ray wanted to take over the bills and screwed everything up early in the show

And this is why I don’t lend out money. You also run the risk of that person making a habit of constantly asking you for $$
