For those wondering what the seemingly random poison breath is about: The Green Mist is a classic heel move in NJPW, which they are clearly channeling in this raid series.

I love that the whole raid series is just the plot line to a WWE fight. You have the young upstart, the established wrestlers, a meddeling chairman and a returning legend. I we don't do a tag team match at some point I will be surprised!

This raid is trying to remind us that a feline, bee and a bomber are still considered weak mobs in Final Fantasy standards. That this Light-Heavyweight encounter is only the beginning. I can't wait to see what badass feral souls we'll get to see in later tiers.

You know, this song always felt like the outlier. Like yeah, Yanna's theme also didn't have voicelines, but it wasn't only the first one but It's the lemotif for many other songs in the raid so it's forgiven. This one however is between Call Me Honey and Give it All, two heavily vocal songs.

Then we got M7 and it made sense.

Keen Xenoblade fans might spot that Timothy Watson - the voice of Urianger - is also the voice of Metalface/Mumkhar from Xenoblade, with him bring back that voice for this fight lmao.
