How to make Rhubarb Crumble - Super Easy Dessert Recipe!

Rhubarb Crumble is an easy dessert to prepare, its healthy and very, very tasty! Here in Ireland, Spring is kicking off! The leaves are starting to bud and there is a bit more of a stretch in the evening. Rhubarb is always one of the first ‘fruits’ of the season. Technically a veg but we usually use it as a fruit.

This recipe is dairy, sugar and if you use gluten free oats its gluten free too, so party on! It’s super tasty too and if you start trying it you could end up eating half of it!

Wow.  You just woke up long forgotten memories ( I'm talking pre 1950).   Me mum's rhubarb, berry crumble, with fresh rhubarb from Mrs. Nanegan's garden (our next door neighbor).  The memory cells are still firing thanks to a life filled with lots of fruit and veg (thanx Mum).  Great stuff guys.

For everyone missing the crumble recipe - here is what I found in one of their other recipes on the website. I tried it out and it worked well!

Crumble:
150 g gluten-free oats
50 g ground almond
3 tbsp pumpkin seed
3 tbsp sunflower seeds
75 ml sunflower oil/coconut oil 5 tbsp
90 ml maple syrup

I used agave and then coconut nectar in the next one (yes next one lol) when I ran out of agave and it was divine!!! Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe... you blokes make me smile!!!!

My mouth is watering. Alas, rhubarb is hard to come by here on the Mediterranean... Alas, I got hooked on rhubarb as a child visiting my grandmother in Canada. It is my favorite. I shall save this recipe for the few weeks in the year when a bit of rhubarb makes it down our way. Thank you.

I usually make my crumble topping w/ regular flour, sugar and butter, but yours look really lovely w/ the oats and seeds, can I use regular oats, I don’t have gluten free on hand…
