I started driving for the first time today in a parking lot. After 30 minutes of driving for the first time in my life, my dad tells me to drive to the end of the parking lot and turn right. I started freaking out because that was an actual road and he forced me to drive home on roads up to 45 mph. I was so nervous and stressed but at least I made it back in one piece 😂😂😂

I wish we had patient drivers in South Carolina like you. When I was a student driver people use to blast the horn at me and tried to start a road rage with me and my instructor. Smh!

Someone needs some midnight driving time in a Walmart parking lot. That reminds me of when I had my permit and how my mom used to stomp her foot on the floor over on the passenger side because I used to ride the edge of the gutter. lol

I like when you training bus drivers how you gotta stop at the railroad tracks and you constantly drilling that in their head during training....then when you get in their personal car to go to what they AT THE TRACKS thinking their in a bus. me up every time!

When I was in drivers Ed some guy cut us off pretty bad pulled up to us and waved sorry. The instructor pulled the windows up and started screaming lol

I remember when I first learned to drive. I gripped the wheel too tight and when turning tended to jerk it to whichever side I need to turn which made the ride anything but smooth.
Then I learned to ease into turns, I look at a bend now and think to myself; “That’s about a 3 o’clock turn” and just move the wheel into position and wait until the turn is complete. You definitely get better with time, at least if you are trying. To be honest, I have seen a ton of drivers who are terrible and wonder how they got a license!
I mean, the other day, I was driving on the road, came to a bend, and it’s a heavily forested city, once I was mostly clear of the bend, about 100 ft in front of me going 35mph, a car was in my lane coming towards me, I had to swerve to the shoulder. Scared the shit out of me. It’s a sketchy turn to begin with, but they must have been drinking or smoking to be driving so poorly. Those people scare me, they get people killed.

lol I remember those days. never had a problem much staying in the line. my mom made me drive the interstate first for practice.

Also the weakest person in my group of drivers ed had to go on the highway. Wouldn't you know that the truck in front of us lost his load of aluminum siding and the instructor screamed just keep going don't change lanes for so help me god just keep going straight....well he smashed the Ford focus with 5 grown men into a pile of aluminum siding going 50 mph and kept going to the next exit. That's how bad of a driver he was. After he got his license he had 7 car accidents in 2 years (only 2 involved other cars).

I got a scheduled drive this Thursday and Saturday, one is with a instructor and with a partner, and the other one is a single drive. I feel confident because I have illegally driven on the road multiple times, and before that I went in a school parking lot, this is an example of a first timer with no experience prior to his first drive with his instructor.
