Honestly, as nice as it sounds to have legacy ports back, I've just kinda learned to deal with it. You can turn them into any kind of port you want or even have one port act as multiple ports with a hub.

I prefer the TB ports personally. I use a dock typically. I have docks, carry an HDMI dongle in my bag and love having the ability to plug in on either side. It'll be fine to move back to fixed ports but my ideal world is one in which all displays and all peripherals are USB-C/Thunderbolt.

honestly, the touch bar is a fantastic idea but it should be integrated into the top of the touchpad, not replacing the function keys where it requires lifting your hand to access.

1. Asking for 120Hz is too much for 2021 macbook pros.
2. Touch bar should not exist on that position. Apple should make the trackpad a touchscreen (with pencil support it will be more productive).

Unfortunately my company bought me a 16” MacBook Pro since M1 wasn’t powerful enough for our workload when I started earlier this year. I don’t think they will be getting us new laptops for the next couple of years.

Just a quick thought on your concerns about thin/flat design changes— the iPhone 12 actually gained internal volume by pushing the device’s maximum depth to the edges. Makes me think the top edge of the display where the webcam sits will actually be slightly thicker, allowing a larger sensor
