Every once in a while, there seems to be a hot, new type of engineering that has a lot of hype. For now, it seems to be Nanotech. Maybe it has to do with how cool Nanotechnology looks in the Avengers movies. Let’s look at a quick overview of what it is, the types of courses you’re expected to take if you choose to study nanotech engineering, and the types of jobs you’re expected to get after you graduate. Timestamps are as follows:

00:00 Intro
00:40 Overview
02:45 Nanotechnology Engineering Courses
07:56 Jobs After Graduation
10:18 Future of Nanotech

If these videos aren’t getting as many views as you might expect I fully believe it’s because you’re ahead of the curve. That’s to say the information value of your videos is incredible. I just think people need to find you, but I’ll definitely be talking about you.

I think this field seems so interesting, I love biology and the fundamental parts of matter and I feel like this would be a really good mix of all of the sciences

I think understanding at least some of nanotechnology is extremely important. I conducted research with nanoHUB to understand approaches to help students learn nano concepts. I think understanding models, simulations, and nano size & scale is important for all engineers. It can help them at least open the door for a future career in nanotechnology engineering. Very cool video!
