I found that dedicating a room in your house to sleeping really helps. Don't do anything in your bedroom other than sleeping. No TV, computer, phone, or anything else should be in your bedroom. I found that doing this, I would actually start getting drowsy by just entering my bedroom.

Great book and highlights and animation Brandon. I have no choice but to exercise just before bed due to chronic pain due to an sci. I do gym and swimming and then bed. I sleep much better after a late exercise.

Sleep is important but it really comes down to what you have going on in your life. If you’re in the grind phase, building your future and have lots of things going on, I doubt you’re sleeping 9 hours a day.

Sleep is SO important to our overall mental and physical health but many of us still procrastinate to go to bed on time, myself included :) Need to work on that for better quality sleep.

The question is not whether we sleep enough. But rather why do we choose to be awake at times when we ought to be asleep. Why we feel there aren't enough hours in a day, although we don't do anything we feel is meaningful. That is the true question. We already know we don't sleep enough, we just don't know why we do it,

In the waking state, thoughts come 'automatically' in our minds. For example, i myself don't know what thought will come into my mind say after 10 minutes, 20 minutes etc. 

When thoughts come automatically to our mind, it 'seems' to us that we have consciouly 'thought' them.
