When i first saw their design and dance i was in awe. I dont know much about the art of dancing but i love the concept of different dances/movesets when u choose which of em to be the antagonist.

fun fact: the name Coppelia comes from a famous classical French ballet about this toymaker and her mysterious daughter who never leaves her house and reads books on her balcony every day.

the story continues with Swanhilda, whose fiance Franz seems to be really fond of Coppelia. After learning Coppelia is but a doll created by Doctor Coppelius, she decides to impersonate Coppelia to win Franz’s love and possiby save him from Doctor Coppelius, who is overly protective of Copellia.

its quite a beautiful ballet and meanwhile I still havent fought these bosses yet it was really fun to see their names here. as both a figure skater and ballerina I cant believe how on point both the music and dance moves are!

I really like how they are basically metal but their movements and their ‘clothes’ have the same fluidity as humans’.

each time i have to fight them for mats i genuinely feel bad to kill them 😭 they're my favorite boss for sure

Definitely the best overworld boss in the game so far. Beautiful music, elegant moveset, smooth as butter animation. Literally froze in place the first time I fought them, it's just too damn mesmerizing.. And as a gameplay bonus, the fight is not too difficult for farming purposes.

I love how when fighting them the song gradually changes from one rendition to the other. It’s like when they’re fighting together it’s considered to be intimate so the music reflect that with it be mainly piano and violin and a bit of percussion in some sections. But when they start to get to the phase of the fight where the male robot gets the cryo shield and in general. The male and female robots are genuinely separated most of the time. The music becomes more grand as the once intimate moment becomes a grand spectacle. Showcased by how the rendition sounds as if it was being played by an orchestra.

I was always hyped for Fontaine and they did more than what i expected. Like 400% more than anything I could've come up with for this region

if they can make this for a singular world boss then surely they could give a few special themes to other bosses here and there, even if they use the same one for other similar bosses. The hypostates could have a very otherworldly sounding theme, the ruin bosses could get a very intimidating metallic theme and the more natural bosses could could get something akin to jazzy bar fight music (they’re usually quite chaotic so it fits).
