Vegans Eat Meat for the First Time

Vegans, one of the most over hated groups of people on the internet. Today, we're gonna see some vegans try meat. That's it. Why? Because its entertaining.

My grandma stopped eating chicken from she was a little girl and at age 76 she started eating it again and she really enjoyed it

i had a vegan girlfriend and she was really cool. only downside was soy milk, but she didnt get pissy if i brought my own milk or I ordered some chicken while she ate nut curd or whatever the shit they eat. I started thinking the stereotype of the angry vegan was just an internet thing and wasn't true.

The redhead is the REAL deal. I like her ! And to be fair I have tried vegan foods and snacks and honestly. It was 50/50 for me. Some of it was chewy and disgusting. Some of it was OK. Not bad. But not great either. Each to their own. You can eat whatever the hell you want

Regarding August's question at 3:50 - So, like half a year after becoming vegetarian couple of years ago, I started to really notice the smell intrinsic to meat that I was not really able to perceive before. And it is disgusting. So yeah, vegetarians not being able to stomach meat is a genuine thing.
On the other hand, I have to admit that after 5 years I restarted eating fish which for me didn't start to smell disgusting. So results may vary.

I'm gonna be real, I am CERTAIN those people wanted it to taste bad. Those buns were massive, put a sea of ketchup, an entire onion, and a sad slice of tomato. And that steak was probably like a 3 dollar one.

It's incredibly common for things to taste bad if you haven't been accustomed to eating it. A great example of this is Hershey's chocolate. People who haven't consumed it at a young age tend to think it taste like vomit. Hershey's isn't a popular chocolate bar in the UK for instance, so when people from there try the American version they spit it out immediately. This is because the chemical 'butyric acid' is in hershey's (the same thing that gives parmesan cheese it's funky taste). If someone was to avoid eating something for years and forget what it tastes like, when they eat it again, there is a chance they won't like it.

I'm a meat eater myself but I can understand why it would seem "gross" to someone who doesn't eat it at all. I mean when you think about it from that perspective "skin, bone, muscle". Personally those things don't bother me at all, but I get it.

As someone who primarily eats meat, gotta say that none of that looked appetizing. Those were some of the saddest displays of food I've seen in a while, it really does seem like they were trying to get a rise out of these three. Gotta respect that flame-haired lady for admitting that some of them were actually good, and still sticking with her choice of not eating meat. What a fantastic reaction she had in each of the rounds.
