I remember in the late 60s early 70s going to “Toro negro” The area was full of rats due to the trash in the area. The pool was great, even though it was cold. However, they say it’s closed due to maintenance not so it’s all about $. However, being born, and raise in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I loved it I would not give it up for nothing even though when we were younger, we always thought it was better on the other side of the mountain.

Please do a part 2. The best time to enjoy the rivers is after a good rain and the water settle because it gets cleaned and nice charcos get build by nature. Have you been to El Cerro Maravillas?

What's that tune you were singing at the end with the stick? Is this some sort of ritual?
