Correction about the Tsukuyomi; there is no set time limit for it’s duration, Itachi just usually only puts enough chakra into it for the 72 hours = 3 seconds version. The strongest usage of the Tsukuyomi that we’ve seen was when Itachi used it to kill Izumi, his love interest. What Itach did to her through the Tsukuyomi was make her live out a happy life with him, wherein she eventually died of old age within the genjutsu and promptly died IRL. When Itachi did this, in reality only a fraction of a second passed.

I just realised why Madara, Pain, Obito and Sasuke's Rinnegans have access to the same abilities but Momoshiki and Urashiki do not. It is because chakra inside humans originally belonged to Hagaromo. This is why they didn't gain the Rinnegan abilities of Momoshiki and Urashiki. The humans with the Rinnegan have chakra that was initially naturally created by Hagaromo's body and DNA. This is why Momoshiki and Urashiki have very different Rinnegan abilities than Madara and Sasuke because Momoshiki and Urashiki produced their Rinnegan from their own unique chakra, not Hagaromo's. I always thought it was weird why the Rinnegan of Otsutsuki can't use the Paths abilities like almighty push or to summon the king of hell, but it's because their Rinnegans use chakra unique to their DNA.

The Hyuga were the most wasted potential. If the Tenseigan was as easily accessible as the Mangekyo Sharingan, they would easily be the most powerful clan. They also have Gentle Fist which completely shuts down chakra networks, similar to chi blockers in Avatar TLA. This could have had the potential to become a hard counter to some of the crazy chakra based techniques seen in the show, but was never explored. While I loved some of the Uchiha characters, they were overrated. The lore is that the Uchiha were tired of war and many of them died to the Senju. Would have loved to see Hinata inherit that ability or the very least seen the upgrade in Boruto.

I think that the hyuga were done dirty by power creep. if you look at how it was originally with the sharingan allowing you to copy jutsu and the Byakugan glowing a person to see great distances, through solid objects and chakra points, then it actually puts it slightly above the sharingan, but because Sasuke was the lancer to Naruto, they needed to add to its ability, which led to the slippery slope that devolved into the sharingan being what it is now. had things stuck as they were originally for abilities, then the Hyugas position makes perfect sense

Upon reviewing the Sharingan and Mangekyo Sharingan, I’ve just realized that Obito’s backstory episodes in Shippuden already revealed to us that the supposed path of evolution of the Sharingan was a lie. Obito awakened his Sharingan for the first time purely out of an all-consuming desire to protect his friends (specifically Kakashi at that moment). He later awakened his Mangekyo simply from SEEING Rin die, without having to do it himself.

Corrections about the Sharingan. The Eye of Hypnotism and Insight are just names give to abilities. Each eye is isn’t labeled as each, which is clearly shown by Kakashi who was able to use both abilities. The Mangekyo abilities don’t kill the user, it just blinds them. Madara wasn’t dying at all, and the version we first see was a fabricated story to make Madara look more like a blood thirst, power hunger killer who would take his own brothers life for power. Also We know how you get EMS. You just transplant your eyes with the others, and the abilities don’t merge. Sasuke does not have Tsykuyomi and he already had Amaterasu.

I think Renmarus version of the ones own life jutsu is tied to his dojutsu. He can see life force or life energy and chackra so at some point in his life, he could very well have found a way to manipulate/transfer these energies.

As to why he isn't dead from this, maybe it's because he is a child and thus has just more life force to spare than granny chiyo so maybe if she was younger she also could have survived reviving Gaara.

Another possibility is that it has something to do with a sort of precision. For example, let's assume your life force is stored in a specific point in your body, let's say your heart, stomach or wherever. With the ones own life jutsu, it might be the case that you normally would just blast all your life force into a person until you refill their life reservoir. Renmaru however could directly apply his life energy to that point thus saving the rest that would normally be lost with a widespread attempt.

Anyways, those are my theories on the topic, hope they brought someone some enjoyment ^^

Kinda crazy how the Sharingan can make the user physically stronger. Makes me think the Uchiha’s potential is limitless and how an EMS Madara could keep up with Sage Mode Hashirama.

The byakugan is highly underrated just because its users weren't proficient enough in using it. If you can see and manipulate chakra points in a person all it takes is a single punch to open the gate of death and they would crumble into dust. Without training they would never be able to utilise the power given to them by the gate for even a nanosecond and would just die. Not to mention disabling anyone by opening a weaker gate. This is just one use that has never been explored because of "muh sharingan" being so important in the story for shitty reasons.

18:31 Should also mention that each time a tomoe is unlocked it increases the physical abilities (speed and strength and agility) of the user each tomoe unlocked. We see this displayed in Sasukes fight with Naruto in the Valley of the End the first time. So it doesn't only signify ones proficiency with Sharingan.

Each doujutsu is a mutation of the Byakugan(Yang) or the Sharingan(Yin) Eyes, usually based on another Nature too remember clans have “cousin clans”meaning if a clan member isn’t born with the same skills they are moved or leave to start their own with their version(different nature) same form ninjutsu
Example: Uchiha(Fire Yin) are cousins of
Fūma Clan (Wind Yin)
Hagoromo Clan (Earth Yin maybe) “who could be Earth Kingdom related”
And Chinoike Clan(Water Yin) who all fought in the Warring states period

I’m so glad they made the tenseigan an extension of the byakugan. The byaukugan just feels like just a slight power increase while the rinnegan and sharingan give massive boosts. So I’m happy they have an alternative to the rinnegan in power.

I always thought that Boruto having the Jougan could be explained by the fact that he is both the son of a Hyuga and an Uzumaki (Senju), basically being the only known person in existance who has both Hagoromo and Hamura DNA.

By the way, you heard it here first. If Boruto and Sarada ever marry and have a kid, he or she will probably have a Rinnegan.

Madara getting his Rinnesharigan from the ten-tails who was getting it from Kaguya. Isn't that how all the tailed beast kekkei genkai work. Like Roshi can use lava release by projecting son goku who is like 1/8 of kaguya's chakra, So Roshi is just getting kaguya's lava release.
