Listening to this music today 18/8/2020 and reading in media of the Ghanaian government locking Nigerian shops in Ghana and maltreating them makes my heart ache, where is the love that existed between us mainly Igbos and Ghanaians in the 80's ? that made me even as a small boy then to master Ghanaian music more igbo music, Am pained!

My dad used to play this song when I was 7 years old almost everyday.
I grow up loving this son, lot of memories.

I grew up with this song as an important message on hospitaility. You may treat someone as a stranger today yet you can be a stranger tomorrow to.

This song gave me hope back then that I'd own my home someday. Now I'm on my way to having multiple houses for rent by the time I retire

I very well remember this piece in a particular kind of way. This song was said to be an indirect reference to then- Nigerian government ( landlord) that had to adorpted a policy to expell illegal immigrants, most of whom were Ghanians living and working in Nigeria at the time, when Ghana was undergoing severe economic difficulties. A good piece this is, though. Thanks Stonefill!
