Top 10 Least Visited Cities in the United States (Overlooked) Part 2

Last month we talked about the least visited states. I thought we should go a little smaller and look at some American cities that don’t see the flood of visitors every year. Tourism is a major industry in the United States and some of these cities really need some visitors. Maybe you will take a look and maybe visit and avoid the crowds.

Reno, Nevada
Flagstaff, Arizona
Portland, Maine
Fort Wayne, Indiana
Salem Massachusetts

I really loved the positive way in which you talked about the U.S. in the this video. I hear so many people, both Americans and non-Americans, talking trash about it or finding reasons to bring it down. Every time I go there I have the BEST time - there's amazing food, architecture, landscapes, stuff to do, and people are so much nicer than they have a reputation for being, even in the big cities (apart from Boston of course...)

Glad to hear you talk about Flagstaff and explain the difference from most of the rest of the state. BTW, the Hotel Monte Vista there is said to be haunted and Lowell observatory is where Pluto was discovered. Loved the topic and learning about the other cities as well.

Nice video Briggs. I live in Fort Wayne and there is more that is awesome to visit like the baseball stadium which is the only MLB size field on single A baseball. We are also seeing more and more craft breweries and they just opened a new park that has water access.

Great video. I notice that some of those towns don't seem to have as easy access to airports as the larger cities. That might contribute to being less visited. Great video.

Love the list! Love it even more I've been to ALL of these on part 2. Salem is GREAT! Don't be afraid of the ghosts or witches...just the high school mascot (Salem Witch of course).Haha,
Yeah, my Salem bias is showing, lived there for a year back in the 1980's...it was expensive then too. Awesome to see some love to Portland, Maine, Flagstaff, Arizona and Reno, Nevada!!
Didn't know that cool bit about the naming of Portland, Oregon. Boston, Oregon....nope, doesn't sound right. Neither does New Boston, Texas a couple hundred miles from me now.
And it's Masshole, not A maybe they are the same, but Masshole identifies where the Ahole is from. Haha, says this native Masshole.

Categorically the top-most entertaining and informative narrator that educates & weaves solid supportive data seamlessly into honest evaluations and assessments. Capsule views that cover a broad breadth of our good 'Ol U.S.A.. Equal doses of Zeitgeist & schadenfreude and nicely blended, too. Mike Kirwan - Kenmore, WA
