I didn't know that the grid helps provides cooling throughout the night. I could definitely benefit from that- I kick off the comforter and sheets in the middle of the night, it disrupts my sleep!

We had ours for about 3 years, and it completely broke down. They sent a replacement which is worse than the first one. I can't feel any support, and when you sit on the bed, you literally feel the hard base underneath you. If you want a purple mattress, just go by a pillow topper, and it will accomplish the same thing for a fraction of the cost. Going to just buy a spring mattress instead.

Surprised to hear you say this mattress isolates motion. Tested this at a Mattress Firm and the thing was too jiggly for me. The salesman said the same thing.
