Portugal, Lisbon is where St Anthony was originally born and the kids collect money saying is for St. Anthony but is for them. My people are generous, kind and humble! You were not robbed. It's Santo António, it's like the donations that adults make on Halloween to children. In Santo Antônio you give coins to children and then they use these coins to buy toys or sweets. I don't know if I explained myself?
