FIRST ICE Northern Wisconsin – Catching Pike on 3' of Ice

It was a cold and windy day on the ice, but we managed to find some pike on 3 inches of ice during our first ice fishing adventure of the season. In this video, we discuss safety tips, ice thickness checks, and how we made the most of the tough conditions. Im in Park Falls. Checked the ice on Wednesday and was able to walk on but the ice was very creaky. Checked the other 2 launches on the lake and it was still open water. Gonna check again tomorrow. Hopefully get out. Maybe Sunday for sure.
