Shed Seven's "Ocean Pie" had gone to No.1 in Thailand, famously knocking off "Sure" by Take That. Love "The Wild Ones" by Suede. "End Of A Century" by Blur was alright, but I think "This Is A Low" should have been their 4th single off Parklife. The Louis Armstrong one is such a beautiful song. "Love Spreads" by the Stone Roses should have been No.1 (damn you Baby D), "Whatever" by Oasis should have been the Christmas No.1. And if I never have to hear that bloody Mariah song every December I would be a very happy man indeed, 30 years on and I still hate it!

Tom Jones If I Only Knew one of my Xmas 94 faves. We were still buying second hand cassette albums as CD sales led to a dusty mountain of old tek going cheap.
