This was truly remarkable. I've read many books on existentialism, including all of Sarte's and Camus' novels, which were beautifully written, and I've never thought it was possible to sum it up in less than four minutes. But you did it with grace and humor. I liked the way you explained the philosophical journey from essentialism to existentialism to stupefaction after the end of WWII. Please do one on phenomenology vs. epistemology.

My father kept calling me a nihilist in my rebellious youth. I am now 48, raising 2 teenagers and realised what a spoilt brat I was. My whole world was full of artists...existentialism was the common currency..and I was so much more cynical

The poster boy for 'glib and self satisfied' couldn't be further from the truth. Nietzsche didn't have a 'nihilistic worldview' as he considered nihilism antithetical to any life affirming values and warned mankind of the burden of having to live by just a secular moral compass once the big guy upstairs had been enrolled in Dignitas. This channel in 3 words: Get a clue.
