Clarity and Adaptive sharpen are the 2 PostFX sliders that can hurt your performance the most. These 2 sliders will only have a negative effect on performance if your GPU runs at 100% usage.

the drop depends on what you change in post effects, it definitely does have an impact and a pretty substantial one at that. so this short makes no sense

it absolutely does affect FPS. It adds additional rendering, so even if you have the exact same framerate, your frametime will increase (aka input delay.) Use Nvdia control panel instead.

It depends on what you use in post fx and it'll definitely use more GPU and mem

Its depends on your pc. I played on old laptop and postfx absolutli destroyed my performance like - 25% of fps. But now almost nothing that you could see with fps meter off.

Yes it does. To test this right u have to run 100 M with Postfx on and off. And then compare it

How are you getting fps like this?? I’m getting 60 frames at most with a GYZ 3070, Ryzen 7 5800X cpu… is there something I’m
Doing wrong?

It does if your GPU is 100% so if you're cpu bottlenecked which is likely in this game it won't matter.
