🐉 🔥 I almost left when you started talking about The Last Word 😢😅 sike nah. You are too funny. I was annoyed with the dog monologues too, but luckily not enough to dnf. It’s definitely a campy book that’s not for everyone, especially because of the humor.

Now I am curious about what I will think while rereading the Bernstein Bears. I never realized the things you pointed out. Good eye 😊

One of these days I’ll get back into Harry Potter. I think the illustrated editions may keep my attention more.

I honestly love hearing you talk about DNFs! Not enough people here on Booktube (myself included) can own a DNF so well, even though we all should! I need to be better about DNFing because I have so many books on my TBR...

I DNF'd The Last One after the twist in the middle. I HATE books with that trope and if I'd known that's what was going on I wouldn't have even read it. I find that if I'm searching goodreads for 2 star reviews that's usually a sign to DNF

A recent highlight for me is definitely The Only One Left. It's probably my favorite book of 2023 honestly, it hasn't left my mind since I read it and it's been well over a month. The vibe, the twists, ughhh.. sooo good! Nothing this year compares to it, I've struggled with every other thriller I've picked up since, cause they're not as good
