Zhu-Xi Luo from Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics speaks about "Gravity dual of the Ising CFT: all genus".

Abstract: We study 3d pure Euclidean gravity with negative cosmological constant, in the quantum regime where the AdS radius l is of Planck scale. Specifically, we establish the duality between the gravity at a specific Brown-Henneaux central charge c=1/2 (defined as c=3l/2G with G being the Newton’s constant) and the 2d Ising CFT. This is established by matching the partition functions of both sides, where the gravitational theory lives in a genus-g handlebody, and the CFT resides on its asymptotic boundary, i.e. the genus-g Riemann surface. The proof for arbitrary g relies on new mathematical results in topological quantum field theory.
