Paul wrote it, John put his touch on it, George perfected it, and then Ringo finished turning it into a Beatle song. Four geniuses at work

You can’t possibly be old enough to be rockin’ in the ‘60’s!

Your back story for each of the Beatles' songs you recreate is as fascinating as learning the songs from your videos is satisfying! What a contribution to music overall, Mike! Love this stuff!!

I was listening to Rubber Soul today thinking “Wait is such a rockin’ and underrated song!” and “I wonder if Mike did a tutorial on it”…and sure enough, here it is!

Ah yes, the release date, such warm memory of childhood, sitting upon the living room floor excited about Christmas and Rubber Soul playing on our 'Hi-Fi, all was right with the world. This is one of the songs, not played 'as much' thus bringing back even more of that wonderful memory.

That you do these vids without notes is insane. I have never witnessed someone with such a complete understanding of the Beatles.

Well Mike, another 56 year old mystery solved. I've gone on to other things in my musical career, but learning these are the core of it all. And their cleverness never ceases to amaze me. Thanks again.

Really great Mike! Rubber Soul has to be a contender for best Beatles album. "The Word" would be a great track to do!

'Wait' is a brilliant song. One of their best.

For years now, if anyone asks me my least favorite Beatles song, my answer, with no hesitation, is Wait. It's always sounded super-gimmicky to me, its placement after In My Life (a contender for best song ever) grinds my gears, it sounds like a reject from a lesser album, and I don't like the lyrics (especially the bridge). Side one of Rubber Soul (UK) has always been my favorite Beatle side- I love the order of the songs! So yeah, Wait's position has always bugged me.
HOWEVER! I am a fan of your station and paused my day to watch one of my favorite youtubers dissect one of my least favorite Beatle tunes.
Sometimes I'll find myself debating with someone who thinks that analyzing music kills its spirit- this video proves the opposite can be true for me.
You are a terrific breaker-downer of the taste, style, method, individuality and accessibility of these two guitarists we love so much that it can be easy to take them for granted or not notice that really cool little choice one of them made. Maybe my favorite thing about this band is their ability to stand up to scrutiny- the closer I listen, the more I am rewarded (and I've been listening pretty close for YEARS).
Wait has been the Beatle song I "love to hate". Today, I'm confident that later on, when I listen to it, in full side 2 context, I will, for the first time maybe ever, appreciate and even enjoy listening to it in a whole new way.
Nice work Mike! Thank you

I have always LOVED this song--thank you! I love the way you show how Lennon and Harrison complimented each other. John is so underrated, and your videos show his guitar genius. Thanks, as always.

Mike - a brilliant song, cleverly taken apart and put back together again, superb! Well done 👏

Cool, how in George's part his Strat sounds like a violin due to the notes and volume pedal. Never noticed that up to now.

Wait is another of those Beatles album cuts that could/should have been a single/ It was in heavy rotation on WLS Chicago when Rubber Soul came out. One of my favorite Beatles songs. SUPURB vid. Thank you!

Thanks again for highlighting all three string players. Gives me an insight into how they all collaborated and developed the songs.

Love this era with the blue Strats and volume pedals. I Need You comes to mind. Also the famous trebly solo on Nowhere Man. Never knew George used 2 tracks. Thanks Mike!
