I finally decided on either the Bosch or the Brose as the bikes really varied very little. The Brose won and I went for the very integrated Specialized Levo Carbon

I think the Trek Police Electric is tops with the speed motor design is my choice. Why not equip this with this option choice for the USA? Perhaps they may when it becomes available. Makes sense to me for the extra power. Nice integrated power tube and motor in the carbon version. I would also like to see a smaller sized motor turned 60 degrees up for a streamline look. IMHO!

It just me, or this a better looking e-bike so far...

Too bad you couldn't give at least initial first impression. Surely a day out with an ebike enthusiast could do that?
Like the integrated battery - and the color. Don't like only 500wh capacity - forces you to carry an extra battery on long days out. Wish Bosch et al would move to 48v systems rather than weaker 36v systems. And hopefully soon Bosch will redesign the motor to get rid of that annoying dying sewing machine whine - find it very off-puting when on trails.
