This isn't offensive. It's still funny even 70 years later. Everyone had a go - hillbillies, blacks, Latinas, Chinese, Hawaiians, indigenous Americans..Tex Avery was an equal-opportunity roaster. Political correctness sucks sometimes.

The Pacific-Islander bit always got me when I used to watch this on the Tex Avery Show on Cartoon Network! It's been about a quarter of a decade since I first saw this, and I still laugh so hard that it hurts!

Tex Avery had no boundaries. Each cartoon is more and more of that outlandish crackpot humor so characteristic in his work. So you all look out now, you might wind up being one of the unlucky ones to burst out laughing in the middle of the most tense moments of the truce talks to save your marriage...

As a millennial I thought something was wrong with me as to why I don't laugh at modern comedy. But when i watch these old cartoons I crack up so much I cry. Then it hits me, modern comedy is garbage.
