Kirk is such a jerk. I hate how he cuts people off at the end of their statement. And then in the case of this gentleman, he was trying to play his guitar for us (the audience) and he cut him off too.

Smart people who play in bands and have what they consider to be "priceless" equipment have insurance on it. It's no different than having insurance on anything else you own or use for the purposes of earning a living. If you value something that much, then put your own insurance on it, which I'm sure he probably had but didn't want to use. If the defendant had had any witnesses to testify on his behalf, I don't think he would have lost.

OK....WHEN I 1ST HEARD IT I WAS THINKING WHY NOT SUE THE PERSON WHO SPILT THE DRINK & BROKE IT. NOW THIS COULD'VE BEEN A SCENARIO {1} PERSON GOES UP TO GRAB ALL THE DRINKS SO THE BARTENDER NEVER WITNESSED HIM BEING DRUNK. SO I GUESS PERHAPS THE BAR GOES AFTER MR DRUNK
