RIP ROBLOX'S LAWSUIT (Ruben Sim Sued)

Roblox's lawsuit against Ruben Sim is over. The YouTuber is no longer being sued.

Ruben Sim vs Roblox has come to an end! (He's still uploading his planned videos on Roblox's lawsuit though)

This was all probably part of Roblox’s plan. They piled on a ton of false accusations to create that big number to scare Ruben into accepting their terms and quitting Roblox. We need laws against this shit or something because even those legal fees are destroying a hefty portion of his life.

Glad Ruben made it out. Being banned by Roblox is better then having your life destroyed. Although, Ruben was essentially the only person on Roblox who revealed the company's true colours and now that he has to delete his Roblox videos, no one else can see what he accomplished, and in the end, Roblox won in what they were trying to do, silencing Ruben from revealing more of the company's shady practices and such. It's not all terrible though. I feel like enough people already know how terrible Roblox is as a company and know what to do if all goes downhill again.

I think this was the true ending. There was no way everything could have turned out perfectly for Rubin. But what we got was the best realistic result.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and Ruben sim’s Roblox videos are no exception. But he will move on to other games, and I am excited to see those.

It’s APPALLING that ruben sim is the only person on the platform to be sued by roblox yet so many other people who are essentially evil could have been sued yet they weren’t and most of the things roblox claimed Ruben had done cannot be proven and some of these allegations can be proven false.

This is a terrible ending for this situation. Ruben was forced to settle with Roblox. Ignoring the fact he had to pay 150k, he can’t play roblox anymore. I’d say Ruben was the biggest whistleblower for roblox and now that he cannot be an active part of the community he can’t continue to expose and criticize the corporation to the same effect he had when he could play it. Worst of all it set a TERRIBLE and terrifying precedent. Massive corporations now have seen in practice that they can sue individuals criticizing the way their games are managed. There is no way an individual YouTuber can go to court and fend off a massive corporation’s legal team due to how much lawsuits cost. Imagine if ACTIVISION sued any YouTuber covering the ongoing “misconduct” scandals. They are holding Ruben by his balls. If he decides to continue making videos criticizing Roblox such as his ongoing series about the lawsuit itself they can call it slander, refer to the settlement where it states he can’t make false statements about roblox and claim he is violating the court order. Even if those statements he is making about Roblox are true Ruben can’t fight the lawsuit due to the cost. This whole situation and how it ended is truly disturbing.

Im glad that he doesnt lose a lot of money and his channel, but he could still win in court, because he has the three videos and tons of evidence to countersuit Roblox. More people would know about the lawsuit and will see Roblox's true colors. Plus Ruben wont face any consequence

Roblox would absoulely lose, because their reputation, and actions are way more severe than Ruben's lawsuit

Even more sketchier, Ruben had to delay the video for undisclosed reasons, and Roblox tried to ask the PMG channel to take their video down, but they retaliated and made a more indepth video.

And you got to remember that he was banned, because of exposing an admin for owning an NSFW account.

Whatever Roblox is trying to do, they dont want to get exposed for their corrupt platform and exploitation of children. They still want money from Investors who would turn a blind eye when confronted with the truth

We need another Ruben Sim if he surrenders

Ruben came up with a strong arguement against roblox and roblox got shit scared because of it. Like all big companies they made an agreement with him that they will not continue to sue if he was to not play roblox anymore. Ruben took this as a fair settlement as he didn't really want to deal with this whole fiasco. He's now moving onto other games and no longer will make roblox content. Was a win for Ruben but also for Roblox. They basically found a way to shut him up.

I reckon its a good thing, cus while ruben sim is not the nicest guy, he wasnt the cyber criminal that roblox made him out to be, and he didnt deserve to lose 1.6 million because of that
