So many players were worried about this new Roblox hardware ID ban. In this video I want to explain what it actually means, and how to fix it if you are getting this error after getting banned on Roblox!

What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where people of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX — interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything — be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yet­to­be­dreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

The reason for why a hardware ban is considered more extreme than a ip ban is somewhat confusing. A hardware ban only applies to one device while an IP ban applies to the entire network.

I just got banned. I called out a hacker in mm2 and later on I got a ban message saying this: Roblox does not permit users to deploy or discuss any method of cheating on platform.

Reason: Cheat and Exploits

I'm guilty of being banned. But this happened from t-shirts I uploaded, that weren't even innappropriate at all, yet Roblox said "No" and didn't like it. I've always had an alt account, and I've never had this issue...I have tons of alt accounts, so if anything, you could guess I have places to go. Though I prefer to play on my main, since I look ugly without Robux. If I ever got IP/Hardware banned/banned forever. I would probably quit Roblox because of how much money I've spent on it

Unless they changed it, you can get around this by going into the app and logging out. Then from the website on another account, it will let you play normally. I got this error message a couple weeks ago after being banned, and that fixed it.

Something similar happened to me last month on the day my account became ineligible for appeal (Sept 13th) and I thought I got IP banned cause it showed a 403 error just like that, basically happens when you're still logged into the roblox beta app player thing on your old account, while trying to play a game through the website on a new account under the same device. It also displayed my new account as moderated when trying to log in through the windows application version even though nothing was wrong.

HWID bans are not worse than IP bans, you can change/spoof your HWID with a program called TMAC. It's complicated to use tho.

No, hardware ban is fairly easy to bypass. You just have to change your current dns into any available dns and just delete the roblox folder on your appdata and you're good to go. I just had this problem and both of theese fixes worked for me easily.

I got something a little like this early this year, I was warned (which I only learned of after what happened) but for the entirety of 24 hours anything on the ROBLOX website returned an error 400.. freaked me out a bit
obviously mine was a glitch and completely different but the error 403 brings that to mind for me

I get this error mostly when my internet is acting up.
All that really happens is that my settings get reset and I have to redo my settings. It's not that big of a deal honestly.

Byfron is a different story, It detects the player that's going to use exploits, It immediately bans the exploiters before the exploits was started, such as running fast in Jailbreak as a cop to arrest criminals is unfair.

also yes when the error happens, open the beta app and log out and it should work, it happened to me before when I got banned on my friend's account

This can also happen when you launch roblox from another account while the roblox all is logged into your main.

authentication failed is just an internet glitch, and you can fix it if you dont get it for exploiting. but if you get it for using exploits, it is just a 1h hardware ban

I got IP banned for an entire day and after the day it won't let me play still. for saying "hm", and I got IP banned 2 days ago.

i got 1 day hardware banned for saying "NOT AGAIN B" when the b part was literally a typo and they thought i was saying bitch. they do all of their bans on hardware now its so annoying

That also happened to me but the error code is 0, I also reset my settings in the game to default whenever this happens...
I signed out of my account not on purpose by logging all out of myreportss and websites for a fresh start and it doesn't happen anymore now :)
Guess warning messages also made it happenhappen, so don't be confused if you still get this error when you get a warning ban.
