In this video I made several LEGO vehicles, walker, tracked, with different sizes of wheels, and even with different things instead of wheels. The goal of Lego Vehicle Challenge is to carry a glass of water through the obstacles, spilling as little as possible. So, I hope you enjoy it.

so were you TRYING to spill as much as possible ? non of the odd shaped wheel designs alternated wheel points to attempt to smooth out the ride and you dint use any suspension whatsoever.

Nice video, but Lego Technic has suspension parts since the early 80's. It's easy to build something that doesn't spill any liquid. Even without springs it's possible to build some kind of mass damper system.

Well it's mostly torque vs speed. Either the thing goes fast but lacks torque and will change speed relatively to the relief, creating turbulence and liquid drop, or it has a lot of torque and is able to crawl up and down the relief with less turbulence and less liquid drop.
Yellow one would have clearly won if you had brought it more torque and less speed through a better choice of gear ratio.

Idea: Don't just make new mechanisms next time, try to take each of these existing mechanisms and modify them until they match blue's performance.

Mechanics and engineers need to learn a thing or two from this, I think I speak for everyone when I say we want vehicles with huge buckets of gasoline on top of it instead of some complex magic hole called a “gas tank” (pfft yeah right government)
