Canon PowerShot N Full Review - TechCentury

This is my full review of the Canon PowerShot N digital camera. The camera features a 12.1 Megapixel Sensor and an 8x optical Zoom. A capacitive touchscreen is used for most of the controls. A wifi connection enables the user to browse photos on his smartphone.
The picture quality overall was decent for the price, however the Canon is certainly a lifestyle product. Slow Motion Video was not usable due to the low resolution of the Video, full HD Video lacked detail and good sound.

Yeah remote control would be a nice touch but the only slight let down is not being able to turn the screen round as that would make it an awesome vlogging camera.

Great review. This seems like the perfect traveler's camera. It's small, it has wifi, a nice touch screen and a very nice 8x optical zoom. I agree that the screen should rotate at 180 though. But overall, I like it. Only thing, I'd prefer it in black if this is available. Thanks for the review and the great video/photo demos!

Thanks! Basically there is nothing more to it than what I show when you see the close up of the 2 control rings, move it left to zoom out, move it right to zoom in, just press the other button to take a picture.

I am looking for a good vlogging camera and had my heart set on this stylish, unique camera! Unfortunately, you say it is not so great for vlogging. What reasonably priced camera would you recommend for vlogging? i am starting very small! I also want to use it for photos

You know, before writing such comments it would be great if you would watch the whole videos, then you would have seen the pictures, slow motion video and Full HD video samples.

Hi thx for review. Maybe this camera just for me... i want to make video of my drawing process... about 2-3 hours of drawing in the room, the camera would be hang over the table all the time... what do you think is this camera good for my purposes??? I need nice sharp colorful non stop video -)

Mr. Tech Century, I recently lost my back-up camera (canon SD780IS)...that had a self timer with 2s, 10s, and custom.

Does the Powershot N have self timer feature as well?  I mainly use it to shoot night landscapes on a flat surface..but if it doesn't have that it would be pointless..

Yes thats true, in its current design it is useless, at least to me.

That's not micro USB. It's called mini USB. Micro is the one smartphones usually use.
