I like the peachy palette a lot. I don't think it looks anything like pink eye 😅colours like this will make green eyes glow 😊

It’s a shame that you didn’t review any of the lip products.This holiday collection from Dior isn’t inspiring however I’ll pick up one of the eyeshadow pallets and a lipstick. I’ll be skipping the entire Chanel holiday collection. I feel that the past a couple of years have been disastrous from a makeup point of view. I’ve not picked up any of the releases this year( spring, summer or a Halloween one). The colour stories and the overall quality of the products are not what Chanel is about.A luxury brand without luxury feel.

Thank you for doing such an early review I bought the highlighter, but thought the original promo photos made it look like it was more of a pink/ mauve highlighter or rose gold oh well I already bought it 😅 I bought the coral highlighter, a mauve lipstick 💄 and I’m going to get one of those eyeshadow pallets they come out with every year but the second quint you tried on did look very pretty 🌃✨ 🤩

Thank you for showing these palettes. They are not going to come home with me - too red, too blah. I saw them on the Dior website, and was disappointed. I love the Backstage palettes, and have the Silver and Smoky ones (and a green/khaki one that is beautiful) and both Highlighter ones - Love those!. They allow me to create beautiful looks. I appreciate your detailed reviews and swatching, because sometimes what looks blah is really wow- like Lancome had a chromatic green in their Holiday palette about 5 years ago that seems meh, but was really WOW.

I LOVE that Dior holiday palette! I am not a fan of most palettes but I would use all those shades. That being said, I am not going to pay $71 for 5 shades when I can pay $69 for 18 shades in a Natasha Danona palette, even if I don't use some of the shades, I'm still going to use most of them.

Thank you for the review! The Soir de Bal palette is very pretty. The other palette is a definite pass. I prefer the Hermes ombré Mordorees’ palette for a much more warm and richer burgundy look.
The luminizer is pretty and the packaging is beautiful and festive. Have a great day!

Thanks for the early preview of the new collection🤩 Are the pink and taupe colors from Soir de Bar similar to the Chanel single shadows Brun Talpa and Blanc Perle?

Thank you for showing the smoky and silver essentials, bc yeah, I can make a very similar look. I have nude glow from the main collection and it is a really good, versatile highlight. I still have my eye on the backstage one bc it is different and fun!


I’ve been making a point of using my singles from Chanel, Dior, and chantecaille. Fun way to be creative, customize looks, and I love the quality on my 53 year old eyes. They stay out on my counter and remind me I don’t need to buy so many palettes anymore! All that said the 2d palette looks very beautiful and I’m drawn to it!

Wow! Thank you for getting this review up so fast!! I ordered the cool toned palette and was thinking about getting the other one but your demo saved me getting it. I have too many palettes like that warm color story. The luminizer also is a skip now since I got the celestial face palette and it didn’t look unique enough to justify getting it.
