I demonstrate a quick and easy method for removing snaps, which you might have to do when your snap-setting tool $%^&*s them up.

Well holy cow! I've been trying to get the broken snaps of of the baby footsies for over two months. Followed your advice, then POW, PING! They flew across the room! Thank you!!

Thanks for showing this. In the past I've had trouble with snaps not lining up properly when I thought they were.

As someone who does this as a career there is another way I use to do this. Just use a drill bit and hold the back side with pliers. This takes only a couple of seconds and you save the cap which is the most expensive part.

Thank you I bought a fanny pack and it has a belt but the snaps that came with it are really cheap I need to take them out and replace them with better snaps. This video is just what I needed thank you very much

Cant thank you ENOUGH!! I used a pair of small wire strippers. Worked like a charm! No damage to my fabric:}

Thank you! This was really helpful. I didn't have the tool you show here, and normal pliers didn't work for me, but I applied your same concept by shimmying a flat head screw driver between the fabric and the snap and loosening it around until it came off. :) yay. thanks!

Thank you so much!

I actually make memory bears (teddy bears out of old sleepers), and need to conserve as much material as possible! I wanted to keep the feet from a camo sleeper intact, but never thought of taking out the snaps! You are a bear saver! Lol

Thank you so much for this! I'm currently making a teddy bear out of a sleeper, and cutting around the snaps makes me lose a lot of material. So simple, yet so handy!
