Bart Cham Dao 'Live Training'

This is not a choreographed demonstration. It is a freestyle Bart Cham Dao training, where I don't kill the attacker, so he can move in and out, trying to "cheat" me. This is what I need. A changing situation, where I can test my mobility, sense of timing and distance and various other skills. It is technical training, where the "flow" effect is important. I gave up some kind of dominancy, so we can simulate weapon fighting sequences without high risk of injury.

Don't try weapon sparring if you are just begin to work with weapons!
Don't try any freestyle weapon training without proper protectors!
Don't try free training or weapon sparring session if you, or the partner is not able to "cool down" your ego!

I have to recommend you buy some HEMA gear so you can spar with these! In my opinion, there are not enough videos like this where people are sparring and showing what the BCD can actually do. Very good video, your movements are fluid and satisfying to watch.

... btw ... does freestyle mean in your mind that your partner has also no clue of sword work - not even the basics. Additionally is it intended the he waits to be hit by you after his sloppy attacks...
