Citation Max - A New Beginning

This video seems to have more haters than any other @CitationMax video, for whatever reason. Listen people, life's unfair. Yes there are a few people with significant means. Usually that spells problems for their children. Not the case with Max and his family. Here's as decent a guy as you'll ever find who worked hard to learn and hone his skills and fulfill a lifelong dream. And he's sharing that experience generously with the world. I'll never fly anything but as a passenger in Coach, so I love these videos - they're beautifully made and exciting to watch. Lighten up and enjoy the ride!

Excuse me if my English is unperfect. I am French. When I was a very young boy I loved planes. When I was sixteen, I flew for the first time in a glider and after that in a plane. At nineteen I was instructor on gliders and planes. After that I was professional at twenty two. To reach my dream, I had to work hard because flying was expensive. At twenty seven, my dream stopped because of an accident that touched my right eye. It was very hard for me. Very hard ! Now, I am seventy and, I rejoice myself with videos like yours and I thank you very very much because my dream persist grace of you ! I wish you a long long life and many flights around the world !

Found you by accident and I am glad I did. I will live vicariously through your rating. I didn’t have the opportunity to take the steps to fly, so I had work in the industry so I could stay close. I enjoy your flights. M2 is badass

Love watching your videos here in Ireland Max, I find your passion infectious even though I’m not a pilot or ever will be, I’m 66 so it’s just fascinating to watch! The new plane is fabulous, as somebody said already, it’s just great to hear your enthusiasm about the plane. Thanks for your video postings. Personally I am afraid of flying but just adore seeing others do it. I have flown as passenger on an old Jumbo to NY from London and back in 1992 but... I was... apprehensive... and on edge... all the way and have never done it since. I have crossed the Atlantic since but on a ship...LOL 6 days rather than 7+ hours... I am missing out on many places around the globe yet this fear remains.

LOVE watching you fly. Seems so effortless, kind of second nature to you. I think, given the chance I'd fly with you.

Flying is nice...The experience is different and enjoyable. Please continue to fly...You will enjoy it....I am from the cabin side of the industry...Yes, a Former Purser Flight Attendant so stepping into the cockpit of the old 727-200s, DC-10s and 747-400s, current 737-300s, 777s, 757s and Airbus series of planes has been a great experience to me. For me now crossing over to see how the corporate aircraft are would be very very nice...

My first Type rating was single pilot in the CitationJet. Early in the CE-525 series. 10 type ratings later, I can say without a doubt the Citation M2 is my favorite jet. (The Caravan is my favorite turboprop.)😎
