In Theaters December 22nd

From director Andrew Haigh. One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam (Andrew Scott) has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbor Harry (Paul Mescal), which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents (Claire Foy and Jamie Bell), appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before.

Cast: Andrew Scott, Paul Mescal, Jamie Bell, and Claire Foy

I was not prepared for the levels of heartbreak this movie made me feel. Everyone in the theatre was weeping.

For me honestly this is a 10/10 movie. After the movie finished everyone sat through the credits in full silence. Everyone on this project brought their a-game. Absolutely amazing.

I watched this film today, went into it blind not knowing a thing about it, what a journey. It is one of the most uniquely emotional cinematic experiences I have ever had, such a powerful hauntingly emotive, and beautiful film on every level.

I saw this movie last night and was not prepared to cry as much as I did. This movie is beautiful and poetic and I loved every minute of it. The performance from the cast was a 100 out of 10!

This is one of those rare movies that makes you feel like you're stepping into an entirely formed and real world that you didn't know you needed to visit until you got there.

I am completely devastated after watching it. Such a cathertic experience, cried like a baby. Cannot even judge it critically.

Just finished the movie, sitting in complete silence for half an hour writing this comment. Probably for someone to see it and realise you’re not alone.

Just wow 😢. After watching this last night I’m beside myself with grief but also relief. After losing my brother to suicide 10 years ago I unleashed 10 years of suppressed tears and emotion in a cinema. Absolutely beautiful and stunning film that will change how you perceive the world 😢❤

This messed with my head way more than it should’ve. Highly recommended… what a soundtrack, acting and such meaning…

One of the most hauntingly beautiful and powerful films I've ever experienced. Tears rolled down my face uncontrollably during this film from the first scene to the last because of how . All around me in the theater of the sold out screening I could hear weeping and sniffling. It's an intimately tender, heartbreaking ghost story about loneliness, grief, trauma and the power of love. Andrew Scott and Claire Foy deserve all the nominations this year! My favorite film of 2023!!

Just saw it today and I was right -- this movie broke my heart and healed it all at once. Such a beautiful, poignant film.

This has to be one of the most intensely moving films I have seen. So many layers of *human* existence, parental, romantic, loneliness... Kudos to Andrew Haigh and team. Andrew Scott is absolutely stellar in this role, as is Paul Mescal... this is a must see.

I don't think any film has ever made me feel the way I felt yesterday when I watched this. Everyone in the theater was frozen minutes after the credits started rolling. What a devastating, cathartic, beautiful, and life-changing experience. Can only recommend, but watch carefully, and make sure to be with a loved one.

The kinda movie where that you get back from seeing in the cinema and come home immediately to watch the trailer twice over, just to feel a small sense of the scenes again.

I’m just really grateful for my parents and all strangers in all walks of life 💜💜

two of the most lovely, beautiful, talented men on screen together in a romance? are you kidding me? is this a dream? I am so unbelievably excited.

I’ve just watched the film. Astonishing. Heartbreaking. What an amazing piece of work. I loved 45 Years, and Andrew Haigh knows how to lay his characters completely bare. This is a devastating film, full of grief and loneliness.

This trailer is amazing. It conveys so much emotion. I cried at the end of it without knowing the reason, just been overwhelmed by the feelings. I can't wait to see it.

The scene they are setting up the Christmas tree, while her mum sings him always on my mind really blew my mind.
