I love Atlantic Canada and the charming accents of those warm hearted people!

This is SO welcome! I came there on a cruise in '09, and "did the rocks". Fast forward to now, when I will be (hopefully) coming on another cruise this September, but will unfortunately be on a scooter - I have never forgotten the gorgeous views, and lighthouse of this area, which is why I chose this itinerary again. I am SO thankful I will be able to enjoy it safely!!!

Did the few small houses/ shops that were near the light house demolished? For me that was the charm of Peggy’s cove also.

Went back to Peggy's Cove this year... and was not aware of this. I understand the desire to make it "accessible"... but that it an absolute eye sore! It's a blight on one of the most beautiful natural parts of Canada. Sorry not sorry.

You could have a viewing platform 1 inch off the water You will still have morons standing on the wet yesterday that took the life of a N.S. man trying to save the life of his Ontario resident brother that slipped into the water And later saved And in hospital ...despite all the signs And the viewing been there And stayed about 20ft from the edges Or anything understand the freezing cold water And the strength of the waves throwing you around And The same rocks that threw you in Will not let you out You will lose
