Την γραμμή που θα ακολουθήσει η Ρωσική κυβέρνηση, σε σχέση με τον μερικό αποκλεισμό της διέλευσης κάποιων αγαθών προς τον Ρωσικό θύλακα του Καλίνινγκραντ, στον οποίο και προέβη η Λιθουανία, ανακοίνωσε σε σημερινή ενημέρωση της προς τους δημοσιογράφους, η εκπρόσωπος του ρωσικού υπουργείου Εξωτερικών Μαρία Ζαχάροβα, λέγοντας ότι η απάντηση της Ρωσίας, θα είναι "πρακτική", με ότι φυσικά αυτό μπορεί να σημαίνει.
Την είδηση της δήλωσης της Μαρίας Ζαχάροβα, μεταδίδουν τα πρακτορεία ειδήσεων Reuters και TASS, γράφοντας ότι όταν ρωτήθηκε το ποια θα είναι τα αντίποινα και πότε αυτά θα πραγματοποιηθούν, απάντησε πως εξαρτάται από το αν η Λιθουανία συμφωνήσει να άρει την απαγόρευση της διέλευσης.

Εάν αυτό δεν πραγματοποιηθεί, τότε, φυσικά, τα αντίποινα θα είναι αναπόφευκτα.
Αυτό τονίστηκε σε όλα τα επίπεδα στη Μόσχα."
